About Rueckl Studio

Bob Rueckl started as an apprentice in his dad's portrait studio while still in grade school. After high school, college and the military, Bob chose photography as his life's career. Having been surrounded and influenced by some of the finest Portrait minds in the industry, he has developed a very keen eye for lighting, expression, composition and detail.

2010 begins the 6th decade of the existence of Rueckl Studio, making it one of the most heralded names in Wisconsin photography.

As a member of the Fox Valley Professional photographers, the Wisconsin Professional Photographer Association, and the Professional Photographers of America, Rueckl portraits have won hundreds of state, local and national awards for excellence in portraiture and photo design.

Bob is past president of the FVPPA, and former member of the board of directors of the WPPA and holds the Master of Photography degree and has been granted full fellowship in the WPPA.

Bob and his wife Pat have six grown children and a few animals. They live on the Fox River and take advantage of Pat's floral garden… which provides a terrific setting for our "Secret Garden" children's portraiture, seniors on the river, weddings and family settings.
