Clothing Recommendations:

Simple and subtle is best. Mid tones or deeper solid colors are ideal. Casual outfits in earth tones work best for outdoor photography. Avoid stripes, prints, plaids, patterns and bright colors. Choose long sleeved or ¾ length sleeved shirts and sweaters. Avoid sleeveless clothing.

Holiday Cards

Please ask to see our vast selection of designs, borders, and greeting options. Once your photo is selected, our professional lab will print your slim line cards. This style also includes envelopes. Family name imprinting is available in black, red, or white for $15.00 per order. Holiday cards are only available for purchase in conjunction with a portrait order.

Our Portrait Finishes…

The Basic

For the budget minded. The Basic finish is a coat of semi-matte lacquer applied to all photographs 4x5 and larger.

The Classic

The Classic presentation is the most popular finish. All portraits 4x5 and larger are first lacquered and finally given a turtle shell hard subtle textured surface which resists scratches and moisture and needs no glass. 8x10s and larger are mounted on art board. The Classic is the recommended finish and carries our lifetime guarantee.

The Master

For the discriminating customer! The elegance of the Master Canvas represents the ultimate in portrait finishing. The photo is bonded to artist's canvas under pressure so intense that the threads of the canvas show through . The canvased portrait is then mounted to Masonite OR affixed to a stretcher frame ( your choice) then lacquered with several coats of lustre lacquer to give it the appearance of Old Masters artwork! Truly a masterpiece presentation.

Frames and Framing…

We are able to fulfill all of your framing needs. Our vast selection of moldings far surpasses that of any other studio in the Valley. Ready made frames of fine hardwood are also available in a multitude of sizes and styles. Ask about our custom framing services including matte cutting. A discount of 20% applies to select frames if you place your frame order at the same time as your portrait order.

It may be a simple matter of cropping, color balance or retouching. If you are dissatisfied with your hair, makeup or clothing, we will be happy to re-photograph you for a nominal charge.
